Step inside Alice Jemima’s self-created universe

With her glorious vocals and slick, catchy electro pop jams, Alice Jemima is everything we need.

The Devon singer/songwriter/producer jumped on our radar with her sultry cover of Blackstreet’s No Diggity a couple of years ago, but it is her self-titled debut album that really shows  just how big Jemima’s self-created universe is. And the best part – she is still only in her early 20’s, so expect bigger things to come.

A self-taught guitar player, Jemima has been working on her own songs since she was 12 years old, releasing a self-funded EP in 2012 and her debut EP Liquorice in 2016.

Drawing on universal emotions, Jemima pens lyrics in a way that make you feel as if, maybe, she is speaking directly to you. Layer in summer-ready synths, pulsating basslines, slick-minimal guitar — or the myriad of sounds you’ll find splashed across her record — add in those sultry, sweet vocals and well, you can’t ask for much more.
